For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a writer. I wrote my first poem at the age of 8, and my first sonnet — “Sonnet of Sorrow” — was published in a children’s anthology a few years later. In school, numbers were my foes and words were my best friends. So much so that I voluntarily accepted more homework by signing up for an after-school writing program in middle school. Years later, after graduating from University of San Francisco with a degree in Communications and Journalism, my writing officially career launched at popular blog network, POPSUGAR, where I was a fashion and lifestyle blogger from 2007-2013. Fun fact: I was employee number 40. Today the company boasts hundreds of writers and editors. Since then, I have written for established fashion brands like GUESS Jeans, Paige Denim, J Brand, and L'Agence. I have also worked with various successful companies like Wagstaff Worldwide, Brandless, Bluedot Innovation, and UCSF Medical Center, helping them write and edit important copy.
I consider myself a passionate wordsmith. I views words as beautiful little tools that convey messages to the world in a poetic, melodic manner. One of favorite things about my work is deciphering what words and information the general public will want to read and connect with. It’s my job to take your thoughts and stories, and figure out the best, most beautiful way to sprinkle them out into the world. You dream it, I write it.
